Mercedes Ener G Force

Mercedes Ener G Force

Mercedes- Benz has proposed a futuristic concept 4 × 4 electric appointed Ener -G -Force as part of a design competition at the Los Angeles.

Each year, a design competition is held at the Los Angeles between the various manufacturers on a theme. For this edition, it was this create a police car.

Mercedes- Benz has gone further than simply offering a car extreme off-road vehicle , assuming that a police vehicle may have to be used off-road . Thus, the German manufacturer has proposed the Ener -G -Force , a 4 × 4 futuristic . While many participants in competitions merely drawings, Mercedes introduced a model to actual size. Several features of the vehicle are hypothetical and impossible to implement today . Whatever, its designers have given free rein to their imagination as the Ener -G -Force will not be produced .

The 4 × 4 Class Mercedes G clearly inspired Ener G Force , which is a futuristic replay. The G-Class was originally a military vehicle but was put on sale to the public in 1979. Since then the brand has never withdrawn. In fact , perhaps the Ener G Force it look like a possible successor to the G-Class ? Gorden Wagener, chief designer at Mercedes , in this direction , indicating that the 4 × 4 gives a hint on the future direction of the brand on all-terrain vehicles.
Compared to Class G, the shape of the new 4 × 4 is more rounded , it is also larger and more imposing. The headlights are close to the radiator grille and the two lamps in the shape of a G, a visually striking and emblematic detail. It has also removable side bars , which are not used for protection but for energy storage .

The Ener -G -Force is indeed with a rather special engine, and completely hypothetical (or crazy ?) . It works through the water transformed into hydrogen , will power a fuel cell in turn generating electricity and water . The engine has zero emission and allow a range of 500 miles ( about 800 km). Operating without constraints productions , engineers have ignored the issue of performance and that of the energy used to turn water into hydrogen. In addition, the 4 × 4 has four small motors, one for each wheel , and a scanner rooftop adjusts the suspension according to the terrain and conditions. Amazing ...
